Did You Know:
Glass takes over 4000 years to decompose and even longer in a landfill. Every month in the United States, the amount of glass products that are tossed into landfills equal filling an entire skyscraper!
The glass jars along with their lids, make excellent storage containers.
The fragrance oils we use in each soy candle are plant-based. The process to make these plant-based oils is similar to how essential oils are produced. The difference between these two oils is what’s being extracted. In essential oils, an entire compound is used (i.e. the entire plant), whereas plant-based oils are made of a single extracted molecule of the plant in which the fragrance comes from.
There are thousands of different wicks for candle use. Many are bleached, contain lead and other metals. We use cotton wicks braided with thin paper filaments, interwoven for burn stability. The paper threads supply a controlled curling of the wicks making it self-trimming and minimizing mushrooming, soot and smoke. They have been primed with clean-burning vegetable wax instead of petrol-carbon paraffin wax. A good quality, clean wick is essential for a clean burning candle.
Our candles are handmade with 100% soy wax that has been certified Kosher and FDA approved. They burn 40-50 percent longer than traditional paraffin candles while remaining environmentally safe and eco-friendly. Our candles are made with non-petroleum renewable resources. They are biodegradable and are also free of pesticides, herbicides and genetically modifies materials.
We believe that our customers prefer and appreciate burning a clean candle.

Many candle additives are used by the candle industry to enhance the candle’s color, scent and burn time. These additives contribute even more damage to our planet. They include using synthetic dyes for color, chemicals to make the candle harder to insure a perfect look and shape, chemicals to give a glossier finish, a longer burn, to stick to the glass better, anti-fading additives to fight UV lighting, and on it goes. These candles release toxins into the environment daily.
You may notice slight imperfections may occur with our candles that are free of these additives. They include sweating, cracking, or discoloration in the wax.

Planting wildflowers, along with other plants and trees will help clean our air. Plants produce breathable oxygen by using the CO2 from our atmosphere.
The Thank You Notes used in our product designs are embedded with live wildflower seeds. Plant this paper and watch them grow! This seeded paper is made from 100% post-consumer paper and is embedded with live wildflower seeds. See below for planting instructions.
For best results, soak the paper in water overnight. Cover with a thin layer of the right potting soil for your area and keep moist until seedlings are well established. Sprouts will appear in 1 to 2 weeks.
Also able to plant the paper straight into a flower garden or pots and watered enough to always keep the soil wet or damp until sprouts appeared.
We use Eco-friendly packaging that is made from recycled fibers and is 100% recyclable.
Forty percent of all waste dumped into landfills is paper. Cutting down on paper waste will free up space in our landfills. Eighty-six percent (approximately 254 million) of Americans have access to curbside or drop-off paper recycling programs.
The lids and boxes are made from recycled paper, nontoxic glues and are 100% recyclable. They may also be composted. The glass jars are recyclable with any glass recycling program.
Our business cards use soy and vegetable-based inks and are printed on 100% recycled craft stock. We hope that you never have to throw our business cards away, but if you do, rest assured they’re 100% recyclable.
There are about 75 million acres of land planted to soybeans in the United States. Soy wax is made from the oil found in soybeans. After harvesting, the beans are cleaned, cracked, de-hulled, and rolled into flakes. The leftover husks are typically used as animal feed. By using soy as the wax to make these handmade candles, farmers of the United States are being supported and 100% of the soybeans are being used in one way or another.
Attributes of soy wax:
-Clean Burn: no toxins or carcinogens are released while burning a soy candle. There are no pollutants so it won’t bother any allergies. Soy-based candles do not produce petrol-carbon soot like you often find in many petroleum based paraffin candles.
-Long Lasting Candles: Soy-based candles burn at a cooler temperature than paraffin candles. This allows you to enjoy your soy candle up to 50% longer than a typical candle.
-Support American Farmers: When selecting a soy-based candle, you are providing support for soybean farmers of America. The top producing states of soybeans are Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Indiana.
-Biodegradable: Soy-based wax is all-natural, which makes these candles a breeze to clean up if there were to be a spill.
-Certified Kosher: There are no herbicides or pesticides found in soy-based candles, and the wax is genetically unaltered.
